The BRM Control Room Story

The Solution

This is an 8’ x 20’ modified stock BRM that was built using all steel welded construction, designed and engineered for a blast rating of 8 psi. The modifications included removing sections of the walls, including any electric wiring, to install two 3’ x 2’ blast resistant windows. A gas detection sensor was included in the 25’ stack with a fire alarm pull station. The exterior paint color was selected by the customer for this project. The total modification build time was 2-3 weeks.

Our products are backed by a team of petroleum industry experts, are PICS qualified and adhere to API RP 753 guidelines. We have an award-winning safety program and are an approved vendor with many companies and refineries across the United States, providing blast resistant shelters to many facilities affiliated with AFPM, ACIT, TCC, and LCIA.
